Standard communcations Japan was a subsidary of Marantz Inc. with 25 years worth of experience in radio communications. Marantz Inc sold Standard to Yaesu and they have renamed their commercial products from Vertex to Vertex Standard.

We still have a number of parts for the older models . If you have any questions on the older model, we will be glad to answer them ( if we can )

The only Standard equipment that is still being sold is the HX-290 ( Renamed to VX-310 in the US with LTR-Trunking )
